Mahoning SWCD Announces Conservation Conversations Series
Mahoning County, OH — Get ready to engage with leading experts on conservation challenges and strategies as the Mahoning County Soil & Water Conservation District proudly announces the launch of its free “Conservation Conversations Speaker Series.” This monthly series will provide invaluable insights into protecting our natural resources, wildlife, and landscapes, and will be hosted at various library branches throughout Mahoning County.
Kicking off the series on August 15th is Gavin Switzer, Owner and Lead Designer of Next Nature Environmental. Gavin, an expert in stream, wetland, and native prairie restoration, will share his knowledge and experiences on future conservation challenges and innovative strategies to address them. His dedication to combatting habitat loss through conservation plans and restoration projects makes this an event you won’t want to miss.
Each month, “Conservation Conversations” will feature different speakers, ensuring a diverse range of topics and perspectives. These sessions are designed to inform and inspire residents about the importance of conservation efforts in their community.
