Update: Board Meeting Set for June 14

In accordance with all state rules and guidance as ordered by the Governor of Ohio and the President of the United States regarding the COVID-19 emergency, please be advised that the Board of Mahoning SWCD will hold its regular board meeting on Monday, June 14, 2021, 5:30 p.m. via teleconference.

Also, going forward, ORC 940.39 was added with the passage of HB 340. ORC 940.39 allows the SWCD board to conduct meetings by video conference or, if video conference is not available, by teleconference. As a result of the COVID pandemic, video and telephone conferences are nothing new. However, know that this ORC change will allow for SWCD board meetings to be conducted by video or teleconference into the future beyond the COVID pandemic.
